About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, modify, configure, debug, and evaluate WebLogic and Oracle Fusion integrations
Deliver minor enhancements and resolve defect fixes on legacy WebLogic code
Maintain Oracle Service Bus (OSB) components
Develop, extend, and maintain enterprise APIs and support backend API calls
Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot synchronous and asynchronous EAI message-processing patterns
Develop transformation logic using XQuery and XSLT
Stabilize integration delivery projects by diagnosing message-flow bottlenecks, system defects, and environment issues
Perform end-to-end testing of SOAP/REST web services and integration endpoints using SOAP UI
Maintain and manage WebLogic Server 10g and/or 11g environments
Perform other duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
8+ years of enterprise experience in Java EE/JEE development and middleware integration platforms
Deep hands-on experience developing, configuring, maintaining, and managing WebLogic Server 10g/11g
Proven experience building and maintaining integrations using Oracle Service Bus (OSB) and Oracle Fusion middleware suites
Advanced knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous EAI patterns
Extensive hands-on experience writing transformation logic in XQuery and XSLT
Ability to build, debug, and test web services/APIs using SOAP UI
Ability to perform office-related tasks, including prolonged sitting or standing
Ability to move from place to place within an office environment
Ability to use a computer
Ability to communicate effectively
Preferred: prior experience in electric, gas, or critical-infrastructure utilities
Preferred: familiarity with migrating or bridging legacy JEE/WebLogic services to cloud-native or microservice architectures
Strong diagnostic skills, technical documentation, and team collaboration abilities
