Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver product strategy agreed with the Global Franchise Head and Global Product Lead
  • Drive value creation through product development, approval, growth, and maturity
  • Partner with commercial teams to improve product value
  • Deliver and maintain integrated product development plans
  • Deliver differentiated Target Product Profiles and Target Product Claims
  • Execute governance-approved business cases on time and within cost and quality standards
  • Identify product risks, opportunities, issues, and ways to accelerate development
  • Support business development opportunities within Vaccines and Immune Therapies
  • Represent the indication or asset internally and externally
  • Engage and consult with external experts and build effective networks
  • Provide product information for portfolio reporting
  • Develop materials for Investor Relations discussions
  • Lead the cross-functional Global Product Team and agile sub-teams
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams delivering indications and products
  • Support partnerships and alliances

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • PhD, PharmD, or MD required
  • 5+ years of clinical-related experience
  • Broad experience in drug product development
  • Experience in vaccine development, infectious diseases, or immunology
  • Expertise in areas of the drug development process
  • Ability to interpret and communicate technical information in business language
  • Proven track record delivering drug development projects
  • Experience managing budgets
  • Strong influencing and communication skills with internal and external partners
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Passion, drive to succeed, entrepreneurial and agile working style
  • Openness to change and new ideas
  • Proven ability to learn new information rapidly and effectively
  • MBA desirable
  • Experience in more than one business area desirable
