About the role

  • Manage and shape the marketing strategy for assigned products, consolidating market insights and competitor intelligence to inform robust business plans
  • Collaborate across functions—including sales, public relations, and market access—to develop comprehensive plans at the disease, operational, and campaign levels
  • Execute brand strategies, drive marketing initiatives and campaigns, ensure successful product launches and optimal brand positioning
  • Develop and prepare promotional materials in line with company approval processes; work closely with agencies and cross-functional teams and support Key Account Managers through tailored training initiatives
  • Organize and manage marketing events and partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate and optimize promotional activities
  • Monitor product performance regularly, analyzing data and market trends to drive continuous improvement and inform strategic decisions
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with Key External Experts and Opinion Leaders in the therapeutic area
  • Prepare sales forecasts in collaboration with the logistics team and engage with international colleagues across AstraZeneca’s global network to align strategies and share best practices

Requirements

  • Solid experience in Brand/Product Management, ideally in an innovative pharmaceutical company; experience in Medical Devices or FMCG equally valuable
  • Proven marketing leadership skills, with hands-on experience in launching new products and brands
  • A blend of creativity and commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking
  • Ability to build trusted, collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • A proactive, independent, and flexible approach
  • Advanced project management capabilities
  • A strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • Fluency in English and Czech/Slovak
  • A university degree
