About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manages and develops long-term relationships with assigned physicians, extended prescribers, and other customers in the assigned territory
- Represents the assigned Alexion brands and their approved indications
- Provides disease and product education to external customers such as physicians, nurses, etc. in order to help patients
- Achieves or exceeds sales objectives in assigned territory operating with the highest level of organizational ethics and compliant business practices
- Creates, maintains, and executes strategic account-specific business plans reflecting the brand plan and an in-depth understanding of local market forces
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including Institutional Account Manager(s), TLL(s), SAL(s), MSL(s), FRM(s), Market Access, Diagnostics, and other respective Enterprise partners
- Develops and maintains in-depth disease and therapeutic clinical, and scientific knowledge
- Works comfortably in a clinical setting
- Engages in communications via phone, video, and electronic messaging
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- Proven documented track record of delivering consistent “Top-tier” sales results
- 5 years pharmaceutical sales or Equivalent Experience (e.g., Biotech or Medical Device)
- Neurology experience strongly preferred
- Ability to travel within territory on a regular basis which will include frequent overnight and weekend travel
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
