About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manages and develops long-term relationships with assigned physicians, extended prescribers, and other customers in the assigned territory
  • Represents the assigned Alexion brands and their approved indications
  • Provides disease and product education to external customers such as physicians, nurses, etc. in order to help patients
  • Achieves or exceeds sales objectives in assigned territory operating with the highest level of organizational ethics and compliant business practices
  • Creates, maintains, and executes strategic account-specific business plans reflecting the brand plan and an in-depth understanding of local market forces
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including Institutional Account Manager(s), TLL(s), SAL(s), MSL(s), FRM(s), Market Access, Diagnostics, and other respective Enterprise partners
  • Develops and maintains in-depth disease and therapeutic clinical, and scientific knowledge
  • Works comfortably in a clinical setting
  • Engages in communications via phone, video, and electronic messaging

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Proven documented track record of delivering consistent “Top-tier” sales results
  • 5 years pharmaceutical sales or Equivalent Experience (e.g., Biotech or Medical Device)
  • Neurology experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel within territory on a regular basis which will include frequent overnight and weekend travel
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
