About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manages and develops long-term relationships with assigned physicians, extended prescribers, and other customers in the assigned territory.
  • Represents the assigned Alexion brands and their approved indications.
  • Provides disease and product education to external customers.
  • Consistently achieves or exceeds sales objectives in assigned territory.
  • Creates, maintains, and executes strategic account-specific business plans.
  • Collaborates closely with stakeholders, including Institutional Account Manager(s), TLL(s), SAL(s), MSL(s), FRM(s), Market Access, Diagnostics, and other respective Enterprise partners.
  • Develops and maintains in-depth disease and therapeutic clinical and scientific knowledge.
  • Demonstrates high competence in educating on the disease’s diagnostic approach leading to an effective patient diagnosis.
  • Tracks activities and submits reports on sales activities accurately & on-time.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Proven documented track record of delivering consistent “Top-tier” sales results
  • 5 years pharmaceutical sales or Equivalent Experience (e.g., Biotech or Medical Device)
  • Neurology experience strongly preferred
  • Building relationships with physicians referring, diagnosing and/or treating neuromuscular disorders
  • Manage territory budget and adhere to Alexion code of ethics and compliance
  • Ability to travel within territory on a regular basis which will include frequent overnight and weekend travel
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
