About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manages and develops long-term relationships with assigned physicians and extended prescribers
  • Provides disease and product education to external customers
  • Achieves or exceeds sales objectives in assigned territory
  • Creates, maintains, and executes strategic account-specific business plans
  • Collaborates closely with stakeholders
  • Handles customer questions and objections compliantly
  • Develops and maintains in-depth disease and therapeutic clinical knowledge
  • Tracks activities and submits reports on sales activities accurately & on-time

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Proven documented track record of delivering consistent “Top-tier” sales results
  • 5 years pharmaceutical sales or Equivalent Experience (e.g., Biotech or Medical Device)
  • Neurology experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to build and/or strengthen lasting relationships with providers in physician practices and hospitals
  • Manage territory budget and adhere to Alexion code of ethics and compliance
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel within territory on a regular basis which will include frequent overnight and weekend travel
