About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manages and develops long-term relationships with assigned physicians and extended prescribers
- Provides disease and product education to external customers
- Achieves or exceeds sales objectives in assigned territory
- Creates, maintains, and executes strategic account-specific business plans
- Collaborates closely with stakeholders
- Handles customer questions and objections compliantly
- Develops and maintains in-depth disease and therapeutic clinical knowledge
- Tracks activities and submits reports on sales activities accurately & on-time
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- Proven documented track record of delivering consistent “Top-tier” sales results
- 5 years pharmaceutical sales or Equivalent Experience (e.g., Biotech or Medical Device)
- Neurology experience strongly preferred
- Ability to build and/or strengthen lasting relationships with providers in physician practices and hospitals
- Manage territory budget and adhere to Alexion code of ethics and compliance
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to travel within territory on a regular basis which will include frequent overnight and weekend travel
