About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The AD, MEGO serves as the US MEGO Lead for an assigned Oncology franchise/portfolio, owning IME ( Independent Medical Education ) strategy and end‑to‑end grant governance.
- This role aligns IME with US Medical Affairs and Corporate interests.
- They will lead TARC ( Therapeutic Area Review Committee ) activities and make funding decisions based on strategy, scientific merit, and risk.
- This will ensure compliant, high‑quality educational grants that improve patient care.
- Partners across medical teams and interacts with external providers.
- Responsible for managing budgets.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in healthcare/pharmaceutical industry/medical education
- Expertise in medical education and adult learning
- Deep knowledge of FDA, PhRMA Code, AMA, ACCME, OIG, Open Payments
- Strong cross functional leadership with independent decision‑making
- Strategic planning, project and budget management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation capability
- Proficiency in business/analytics tools with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Adaptability in complex environments; experience with AI platforms
