About the role

  • Intensive support of individual accounts and specialist therapeutic consultation for the rheumatology community in hospitals and outpatient settings
  • Analysis and evaluation of available market data, e.g., conducting market and potential analyses and identifying opportunities in the market
  • Consistent implementation of company strategy and related measures (continuing education concepts, training concepts) to ensure achievement of targets while taking into account the individual needs of the respective target groups/customers
  • Preparation of account plans and responsible use of the available budget in close cooperation with Medical (MSLM), Marketing and Therapy Area Specialists from other regions
  • Implementation of account strategies and plans in strict compliance with all internal and external regulations and codes
  • Close coordination and collaboration with internal interfaces (Sales, Medical & Marketing) regarding stakeholder insights and information within AstraZeneca to optimize marketing, sales and medical activities
  • Development of innovative continuing-education concepts based on current customer needs
  • Participation in congresses, sponsorships and events as platforms for customer engagement and for personal professional development

Requirements

  • You have completed a degree in business administration or a natural science, or a comparable qualification, or you are a certified pharmaceutical representative
  • You have several years of field experience supporting specialist physicians in hospitals and in private practice
  • Experience in a rheumatological or autoimmune indication, or in another Specialty Care area such as Dermatology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, or in the field of rare diseases (Rare Diseases / Orphan Drugs)
  • You are familiar with health policy contexts
  • You present yourself confidently and demonstrate persuasiveness and enthusiasm even in challenging situations
  • You have strong communication skills, a pronounced customer orientation, and a high level of commitment and initiative
  • You are open to using various communication channels with your customers (Omni-Channel)
  • You take responsibility, work proactively and have a pioneering spirit
  • Confident knowledge of CRM systems such as MicroStrategy and Veeva
  • You have fluent German language skills, both written and spoken
