About the role

  • Provide therapeutic support and specialist medical consultation to oncologists in hospitals and in outpatient practices
  • Analyze and evaluate available market data, e.g., by conducting market and potential analyses and identifying market opportunities
  • Consistently implement company strategy and measures to ensure target achievement
  • Prepare account plans and manage the available budget responsibly
  • Implement account strategies and plans in strict compliance with all regulations and codes
  • Coordinate closely and collaborate with internal stakeholders regarding stakeholder insights and information within AstraZeneca
  • Develop innovative educational and training concepts that address current customer needs
  • Participate in congresses, sponsorships and events

Requirements

  • Completed degree in business administration or a natural science, or an equivalent qualification, or certified pharmaceutical representative
  • Several years of field sales experience supporting specialist physicians and experience in oncology or other specialty care areas or in specialist medical care
  • Solid product, market and customer knowledge and an understanding of health policy contexts
  • Confident presence with persuasiveness and enthusiasm, even in challenging situations
  • Strong communication skills, strong customer orientation, high commitment and initiative
  • Business-fluent German and English, spoken and written
