About the role
- Influence and provide high-level scientific support to specialists in hospitals and in private practice, advising comprehensively and therapeutically on the indications severe asthma and CRSwNP (chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps)
- Analyze and evaluate available market data, e.g., through market and potential analyses, to systematically identify opportunities and growth prospects
- Consistently implement the company strategy and develop target-group-specific measures (e.g., continuing education and training concepts) to ensure achievement of objectives — always aligned with the individual needs of each customer
- Create account plans and deploy the available budget purposefully and efficiently — in close coordination with Medical, Marketing and Therapy Area Specialists from other regions
- Implement account strategies and plans in strict compliance with all internal and external guidelines and relevant codes
- Work closely with First Line Sales Managers, Medical Science Liaison Managers and Marketing to generate valuable stakeholder insights and to optimally align marketing, sales and medical activities
- Develop and deliver innovative educational concepts that reflect current customer needs
- Attend congresses, sponsorships and events — both for active customer relationship management and for personal professional development
Requirements
- Completed degree in business administration or a natural science, or qualification as a certified pharmaceutical representative
- Several years of experience supporting specialists in hospitals and in private practice, and expertise in respiratory therapy areas or other specialty-care areas (e.g., rheumatology)
- In-depth knowledge of products, market structures and customer requirements
- Demonstrable experience in account management and strategic customer development
- Strong team orientation, excellent communication skills and a confident presence
- High flexibility, willingness to travel and an independent working style
- Very good MS Office skills as well as fluent German and good English skills
