About the role
- Customer support and consultation: Advise and support specialist physicians in hospitals and in outpatient settings at a high scientific level, with a focus on COPD.
- Market analysis: Analyze and evaluate available market data, e.g., through market and potential analyses, to identify opportunities and openings in the market.
- Strategy implementation: Consistently implement company strategy and develop measures such as continuing education and training concepts tailored to the specific needs of target groups.
- Account management: Create account plans and deploy the available budget for targeted measures in close collaboration with Medical, Marketing, and Therapy Area Specialists from other regions.
- Compliance: Execute account strategies and plans in strict compliance with all internal and external regulations and applicable codes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with First Line Sales Managers, Medical Science Liaisons, and Marketing to gather stakeholder insights and optimize marketing, sales, and medical activities.
- Continuing education: Develop and implement innovative educational concepts that address current customer needs.
- Presence: Participate in congresses, sponsorships, and events — both to maintain customer relationships and for your own professional development.
Requirements
- A degree in business administration or a scientific discipline — alternatively a qualification as a certified pharmaceutical representative or equivalent.
- Several years of experience supporting specialist physicians in hospitals and outpatient practices as a field-based representative, ideally in the respiratory therapy area or other specialty-care fields (e.g., rheumatology).
- Solid knowledge of products, markets, and customers.
- Proven experience in account management.
- Strong team orientation, excellent communication skills, and a confident presence.
- Flexibility, initiative, and willingness to travel.
- Very good MS Office skills and language skills: business-fluent German and good English.
