About the role
- Play a key role in the launch of an innovative product on the German market
- Provide intensive support to hospital accounts and deliver specialist therapeutic consultation to relevant professional groups, including pediatrics and neonatology
- Customer profiling: analyze and evaluate available market data, e.g., conduct market and potential analyses and identify market opportunities
- Consistently implement brand and company strategy and design and execute measures (innovative training and education concepts and individual projects) to ensure target achievement while considering the individual needs of each customer
- Create and maintain account plans and manage the responsible use of the available budget in close coordination with the manager and colleagues from our co-promotion partner, including Medical (MSL), Marketing and the field team
- Implement account strategies and plans in strict compliance with all internal and external regulations and codes of conduct
- Closely coordinate and collaborate with internal interfaces and those at our co-promotion partner (Sales, Medical & Marketing) regarding stakeholder insights and information to optimize marketing, sales and medical activities
- Participate in congresses, sponsorships and events as platforms for market analysis, customer contact and professional development
Requirements
- You have completed a degree in business administration or natural sciences or a comparable qualification, or you are a certified pharmaceutical representative
- You have several years of field sales experience supporting specialist physicians in hospitals and private practice
- Experience in pediatrics/neonatology, another specialty care area or in vaccines is desirable
- You are familiar with healthcare policy contexts
- You demonstrate a confident presence with persuasive ability and enthusiasm, even in difficult situations
- You have strong communication skills, a strong customer orientation and a high level of commitment and initiative
- You are a team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
- You are open to using various communication channels to engage customers (omni-channel)
- You take responsibility, work proactively and have a pioneering spirit
- Confident knowledge of CRM systems such as Veeva
- You have business-fluent German language skills (spoken and written).
