About the role
- Join AstraZeneca’s IBEX (Innovation and Business Excellence) team to elevate data‑driven healthcare decisions across Central Europe.
- Lead the creation, maintenance, and improvement of exploratory and predictive models.
- Translate business questions into robust data definitions, analyses, and dashboards.
- Curate high‑value datasets from authorities, embed best‑practice standards in data quality and governance.
- Provide hands‑on coaching and task leadership to Data Scientists and Data Specialists.
- Drive re‑usable data solutions and common platforms that deliver consistency, compliance, and value at scale.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL.
- Experience with R or Python for analysis and data prep; Power BI or Tableau for visualization.
- Advanced ability to draw conclusions from data and present outcomes in a digestible way to commercial and medical stakeholders.
- Clear written and spoken communication; ability to explain data topics simply.
- Native Czech and advanced English.
- Organized, proactive; strong tracking of tasks, requests, versions, and decisions.
