About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as an active member of a small, elite “SWAT” team to accelerate critical initiatives and unblock execution across Astrana
- Partner with executive leadership to advance CEO-priority initiatives from concept through execution
- Translate ambiguous, high-stakes priorities into structured plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes
- Coordinate alignment, accountability, and momentum across teams on critical cross-functional initiatives
- Identify operational gaps, process inefficiencies, and organizational friction points and design scalable solutions
- Partner with clinical, operational, and technical teams to identify, pilot, and scale AI-enabled solutions
- Advise senior leaders by surfacing risks, opportunities, and recommendations
- Build durable processes, frameworks, and talent that raise performance across functions
- Shape the vision, innovation agenda, and AI-enabled roadmap
- Lead delivery of high-impact initiatives, including diving into data, building dashboard applications, and developing prototypes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- Advanced degree is a plus
- Strong critical-thinking and first-principles problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated strength in at least two of three areas: clinical care, operations, and product/technology
- Clinical experience, such as understanding care-delivery workflows, quality, and clinical performance
- Deep operations experience, such as running or scaling clinical operations, claims, or utilization management
- Technical or coding background sufficient to code proofs of concept or build dashboards from ambiguous data
- Comfortable moving between strategy and execution
- Ability to diagnose issues quickly with incomplete information
- Versatility and ability to thrive in ambiguous environments
- High emotional intelligence and ability to build trust across organizational levels and functions
- Willingness to work as a team player, wear multiple hats, and execute hands-on
- Exceptional communication skills across engineering, business, and medicine/clinical domains
