About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with community-based organizations to promote membership growth and retention.
  • Lead community engagement initiatives that enhance the organization’s visibility and trust within diverse communities.
  • Plan, organize, and execute community events, including:
  • Senior expos and health fairs
  • Doc Talks/Lunch & Learns
  • Sponsorships
  • Astrana hosted events (fun social events)
  • SWAG Center Activities
  • Track lead generation from grassroots activities and ensure timely follow-up to convert leads into members.
  • Maintain monthly event invite email blast through Campaign Monitor or another platform.
  • Collaborate with team to develop and implement outreach and marketing strategies tailored to senior population.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent - bonus to have an Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Public Health, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in patient engagement, care coordination, or healthcare customer service.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse patient populations.
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems, medical terminology, and insurance navigation (Medicare and Medicaid knowledge is a plus).
  • Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in EHR systems and administrative platforms; ability to document accurately and manage multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, multitask, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for patient-centered care and improving health outcomes in underserved communities.

  • The department for this position is aligned with our Corporate Office at 8880 W Sunset Rd, Suite 320, Las Vegas, NV 89148, but this position will be primarily in the field at Community Events, Health Fairs, and broker meetings.
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • The national target pay range for this role is $46,000 - $63,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location (current or future), experience, and other job-related factors.
