About the role

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs
  • Challenge and refine requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Analyze client's database to assess data availability
  • Conduct workshops with stakeholders to validate KPIs
  • Define visualizations and overall dashboard structure in Looker (using Miro or Figma)
  • Build or refine data model to support Looker’s data exploration (using BigQuery and dbt)
  • Develop LookML models for transforming and structuring data
  • Ensure flexibility for users to explore custom reports
  • Focus on usability and clear data presentation
  • Leverage AI-driven solutions to enhance user experience
  • Write articles for knowledge-sharing and community engagement

Requirements

  • Experience with enterprise-grade BI tools is required (Looker, Looker Studio)
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL is required
  • Google Cloud knowledge (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Function ...) is required
  • Good understanding of dbt
  • Good understanding of end-to-end pipeline design and implementation (ETL)
  • Experience with dbt and Git is required
  • Strong data visualization skills to convey information and results clearly
  • Attention to detail and quality with excellent problem-solving
  • Analytics and solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills (both with colleagues and external stakeholders)
  • Fluent in English, French is a significant plus
