About the role
- Astra builds mission-critical infrastructure for moving money instantly at scale (real-time transfers, bank debits, card disbursements, compliance)
- Technical Account Manager is the first line of technical troubleshooting for customers across the integration lifecycle
- Respond to inbound inquiries, investigate and resolve integration issues, assist with technical client configurations, and provide clear guidance
- Partner with Integrations team to onboard new customers and validate integrations
- Contribute to knowledge base by writing and improving technical documentation, FAQs, and guides
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product on product solutions, testing, and validation; escalate complex issues as needed
- Investigate technical environments, identify root causes, and translate technical details into clear, actionable communication
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in a technical support, integration, or solutions engineering role (startup or fintech experience a plus)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform) and comfort navigating logs, APIs, and technical tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to investigate and resolve integration or data flow issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-friendly explanations
- Experience with support systems like Zendesk (or similar ticketing platforms)
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams
- Proactive, detail-oriented approach and willingness to document solutions and processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent practical experience
- Monitoring: experience with observability and alerting systems
- Proficiency with cloud platforms, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Understanding of APIs, data integrations, and common troubleshooting workflows
- Comfort working with logs, SQL queries, and basic debugging tools
- Experience with ticketing systems (Zendesk, Jira, or similar)
- Bonus: GCP services (App Engine, Firestore, Cloud Functions, IAM, Pub/Sub, BigQuery), IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), CI/CD (GitHub Actions, CircleCI), programming in Python/Go/Bash for automation
