About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead technical discovery workshops, platform assessments, and architecture advisory engagements
Act as the primary technical advisor to clients on headless and composable commerce architecture, PWA storefronts, and Salesforce commerce capabilities
Lead pre-sales solutioning, including scope definition, solution approaches, and estimates
Provide points of view on AI-enabled commerce use cases and Salesforce AI capabilities
Translate business goals into technical designs and development tasks
Architect end-to-end e-commerce solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud and create technical documentation
Lead and mentor developers, provide technical direction, and conduct code reviews
Own hands-on technical delivery from design through post-launch support
Identify and address performance bottlenecks
Design and manage third-party integrations using Salesforce Commerce APIs

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of experience in e-commerce architecture
2+ years of pre-sales solutioning experience
5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience
Expert understanding of Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud, data models, and PIG environments
Experience with Salesforce PWA Kit, headless storefronts, and Salesforce Storefront Next architecture
Proficiency in React.js, Node.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, GraphQL, and RESTful APIs
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Leadership and mentoring capabilities
Experience with Headless Commerce architecture, CI/CD tools, and external CDN routing
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and global eCommerce environments
Hands-on experience with data modeling, large product catalogs, and AI/ML services integration
Relevant Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer or Salesforce B2C Architect certifications
