About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare and submit applications to national communications regulators, including technical exhibits.
Engage with national, regional, and international regulatory bodies on spectrum and other technical issues.
Support satellite coordination efforts, including spectrum analysis and sharing techniques for MSS networks.
Advocate for optimized satellite and telecom technical regulatory frameworks.
Develop and promote technical rules that support the organization’s business objectives.
Represent the organization in domestic and international regulatory forums and industry events.
Advise internal teams on policy and industry developments affecting technical outcomes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field. A graduate degree is a plus.
Three to eight years of experience in technology, with a focus on wireless technologies.
Demonstrated interest in wireless technology.
Knowledge of regional technology and policy issues for wireless and/or satellite companies.
Technical expertise in satellite link budgets, mobile device standards, and wireless technologies.
Understanding of spectrum and industry practices in wireless or satellite communications.
Interest and/or experience working with regulators, policymakers, and government agencies.
Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and project deliverables.
