About the role
- Own the architectural design process from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with project goals and enterprise vision
- Provide expert guidance and thought leadership to stakeholders, championing innovative and scalable solutions
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate complex needs into actionable solutions
- Shape solution architecture strategies and frameworks that support business growth, agility, and long-term technology investment
- Deliver architectural insights to audiences from developers to senior executives
- Guide medium-risk decisions, manage technical risks, and ensure alignment to governance frameworks
- Collaborate on cross-functional teams and support Agile delivery
- Identify and deliver global, scalable, and sustainable architectural solutions
- Continuously improve architecture practices and share knowledge across teams
Requirements
- SIFA Level: ARCH 4–5
- Degree in a relevant field (desirable)
- TOGAF or equivalent industry certification (desirable)
- Strong stakeholder management skills and proven experience influencing at senior levels
- Demonstrated success in delivering architecture solutions on time and on budget
- Extensive experience across Agile environments including SAFe and SCRUM
- Hands-on background in software development or support at the enterprise level
- Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle and technology vendor management
- Knowledge of solution design patterns, hosting environments, and industry best practices
- Self-driven with a sharp eye on outcomes and business value
- Sole UK national
- Candidates must be eligible to obtain SC clearance
