About the role

  • Own one or more digital products within the Port, Shipping or Corporate domains.
  • Be accountable for product outcomes across the full lifecycle — from problem definition and roadmap planning to delivery, adoption, operations and continuous improvement.
  • Make informed product and technical trade-offs, working closely with business owners, users, engineers, architects, infrastructure teams and vendors.
  • For senior hires, own broader product areas, mentor other product managers and shape product practices across Digital Enterprise.
  • Define product vision, outcomes and roadmap aligned with business and industry needs.
  • Engage internal users and external industry stakeholders to identify problems and priorities.
  • Translate needs into clear functional and technical requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritise product backlog based on value, risk and technical constraints.
  • Guide iterative delivery and releases with engineering teams and vendors.
  • Own products post go-live, including adoption, stability and continuous improvement.
  • Analyse issues, drive root cause analysis and prioritise improvements.
  • Provide strong technical product leadership, including evaluating solution options and trade-offs.
  • Act as the product’s solution architect where required, defining high-level architecture, integration approach, data flows and non-functional requirements.
  • Partner closely to drive coherent technical decisions when a dedicated architect exists.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in product management, digital solution ownership, business analysis or similar roles
  • Strong technical foundation (architecture, integration, data, security fundamentals)
  • Experience working with Agile or iterative delivery teams
  • Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience owning complex or multiple digital products (for Senior Technical Product Manager)
  • Ability to act as product architect or solution lead when required (for Senior Technical Product Manager)
  • Experience mentoring other product managers and influencing product practices (for Senior Technical Product Manager)
  • Background as a software engineer, solution architect or technical lead (Good to Have)
  • Experience with external-facing digital products for customers or industry partners (Good to Have)
  • Familiarity with public sector governance or vendor delivery environments (Good to Have)
