About the role
- Set and achieve new business goals
- Utilize Sales Tools to identify, target, and prospect new business
- Manage new business sales pipeline and ensure goals are met
- Identify cross sell opportunities with internal teams
- Attend community events and participate in activities driving new business
- Stay current on licensing and education requirements
- Attend trainings on insurance market trends, laws, and coverages
- Travel as needed
Requirements
- Must hold appropriate and valid insurance licenses and driver’s licenses
- 3+ years of insurance sales experience
- Thorough understanding of insurance underwriting and rating procedures
- Self-starter, imaginative and creative with good communication skills
- Competitive, persistent and self-reliant, with high energy and sales drive
