About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform all functions of an F&I Manager consistent with good business practices
- Achieve company- or leadership-set performance standards
- Isolate and resolve discrepancies in client performance and processes affecting solicitation, sales, and profit margins for Assurant Dealer Services products
- Organize, plan, and conduct client meetings
- Facilitate training for dealership personnel on Assurant Dealer Services products, policies, and procedures
- Identify opportunities for Assurant Dealer Services products not currently offered by existing clients
- Complete Home Office reports, including 2-day kickoff worksheets, Trip Reports, and Post Assignment Evaluations
- Submit business travel expenses and receipts to the Home Office
- Coordinate and book airline, hotel, and car reservations through the Corporate Travel Department
- Complete requests from the Program Administrator, Director of Training, and other company employees
- Manage expenses according to current Assurant Dealer Services guidelines
- Travel extensively to automotive client sites nationwide
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 3 years of retail automotive dealership experience, specifically F&I
- Extensive knowledge of retail automobile dealership operations
- Current state licensing required for the assigned territory, or ability to obtain licensing after training
- Proven retail sales experience in the automotive industry is a plus
- At least 2 years of experience in sales, management, and customer relations required
- Strong sales skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Problem-solving and customer service skills
- Computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access required
- Ability to work as a team player and independently
- Must complete and graduate from the one-week FSM Training Class
- Extensive travel to client sites
- Must be open to relocation for advancement opportunities
