Key responsibilities & impact

Translates business ideas and market opportunities or trends into new product ideas.
Leads the efforts to analyze the financial potential of new product ideas, along with developing and presenting the corresponding business plans and justification for new business opportunities.
Ensures integrity of existing products by servicing as lead/team members on channel-driven product enhancement projects.
Uses a solid understanding of risk management measures, trends, risk reduction tools, and applications to monitor portfolio exposure.
Utilizes knowledge of pricing, processes, insurance products, and the industry to analyze products, ensure that market position is maintained and that the products are profitable, and make recommendations for product/procedural changes as needed.
Work alongside cross-functional teams to improve product retention.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree
A minimum of 3 years of related experience in product management, business analyst function, or similar role leveraging analytical skills.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in the P&C insurance industry with a focus on Homeowners insurance.
Extensive knowledge of insurance coverages, pricing options, the impact of regulations, and the importance of compliance.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong SQL expertise for data querying and analysis.
