Lead Accountant, Power BI, Excel

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements that reflect business performance
- Record and process monthly and quarterly journal entries
- Perform account reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve outstanding items
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure financial reporting supports business needs
- Assist in the planning and execution of accounting activities related to special projects
- Conduct research on complex accounting issues
- Take the lead on a small team and assist staff with complicated tasks
- Participate in the preparation and distribution of financial reports
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes
- Provide accounting services and support to affiliated entities or business units
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
- Minimum of 6 years of general accounting experience
- Strong Technical Accounting Expertise: Deep understanding of GAAP and Statutory accounting principles
- Technology-Driven Mindset: Proactively leverages financial systems, automation tools, and data analytics platforms
- Analytical & Investigative Strength: Sharp analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Effective Communication: Communicates clearly and professionally with internal teams and external clients.
- Organizational Agility: Manages multiple priorities with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
