About the role

  • Create Value Through Data: Produce clear, insightful, understandable work products (visualizations, reports, presentations, etc.) to outline business opportunities and actionable recommendations
  • Transform data into insights by leveraging internal and external tools to identify and quantify opportunities
  • Build studies that add substantial value to the decision-making process through proactive data analysis, reporting, and research
  • Analyze existing solutions and optimize them based on the latest best practices, tools, techniques, and policies
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements, execute fast, and ensure the right training and hand-over effort to the stakeholders
  • Communicate Insights: Present analysis and resulting recommendations to senior management and/or clients
  • Leverage data to present compelling business cases to optimize investments and operations
  • Communicate and educate both technical and non-technical employees on analytics and data-driven decision making
  • Support Data Strategies: Design, build, and deliver on our Data as a Product initiatives across the enterprise
  • Participate and drive data modeling and governance best practices
  • Provide rapid corrective response and action to resolve disruptive incidents

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2nd year completed and currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Management, Information Systems or related program of study
  • Master’s degree candidates are preferred
  • 2 years of strong SQL, Excel, SSRS, Power BI, and PowerPoint experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented and possess excellent follow up skills
  • Must be organized and work well with constant priority changes
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
