About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute a field marketing strategy aligned to sales territories and pipeline goals, delivering measurable and consistent ROI.
- Partner with brand to ensure consistency across event guidelines while shaping distinctive Assort event experiences. Develop differentiated formats, programming, and intentional moments that foster genuine connection and leave a lasting impression on executive audiences.
- Manage the field marketing budget, including vendor coordination, cost tracking, and prioritization.
- Own events end to end, event selection, logistics, onsite execution, and post event followup.
- Partner with Sales, Business Development, Demand Gen, and Provider Success on pre event outreach and post-event follow-up to maximize pipeline creation and deal acceleration.
- Responsible for reporting on all field marketing events including pipeline sourced, pipeline influenced, and cost per opportunity.
- Manage external vendors, contractors, and agency partners to execute regional events across key markets.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of experience in field marketing and/or events marketing at a high growth B2B technology company.
- Proven track record of owning and executing field marketing programs with direct accountability for pipeline and ROI metrics.
- Highly organized and operationally strong, comfortable managing multiple events and workstreams simultaneously.
- Builder mentality, thrives in ambiguity, takes high ownership, and can build scalable processes from scratch.
- Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally across Sales, BD, and Marketing without formal authority.
- Familiarity with healthcare, health IT, or selling into provider organizations (Nice-to-haves).
- Prior experience coordinating with regional sales teams or external agency partners (Nice-to-haves).
- Experience working at an early-stage or high-growth company where you've had to build programs from zero-to-one (Nice-to-haves).
- Experience evolving an events motion across multiple stages of company growth (Nice-to-haves).
