About the role
- Functions as a Nurse Planner for the organization
- Leads education activities that meet the learning needs of a diverse group of nurses
- Participates in assessing organizational educational needs and recommends product development priorities based on those needs
- Facilitates all processes related to planning, implementing, and evaluating educational products
- Develops a range of educational activities from live conferences to virtual products
- Assists with CNE tracking and reporting, ensuring compliance with accreditation criteria
Requirements
- Master’s degree (bachelor or graduate degree must be in nursing)
- Current, unencumbered license as a registered nurse
- Nursing experience in women’s health, obstetric or neonatal nursing, required
- Nurse Planner experience required
- Accredited Provider Unit experience required
- Specialty certification in Nursing Professional Development strongly preferred
- Highly effective verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong experience working as part of collaborative teams as a member and/or leader
