About the role
- Oversight of greater than $1B annually in third-party consumer financing originations; optimize consumer financing process and partners to ensure high approval rates and low cost
- Manage relationships with third-party lenders, negotiate terms, ensure compliance, and evaluate/onboard new lending partners
- Oversee financial health of consumer finance operations; develop and monitor KPIs and financial reporting
- Provide insights to Divisional and Marketing leaders to inform sales and lead funnel management
- Oversee centralized team of credit analysts to ensure consistent service and efficient loan closings with high customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with sales teams to enhance customer acquisition and implement training programs on consumer finance products
- Ensure compliance with consumer finance regulations in collaboration with legal and licensing teams
- Monitor trends in consumer credit markets and economic conditions
- Serve as technology advocate for new lending platform roll-out and drive performance improvements from automation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in consumer finance, financial services, or a similar role, with a strong understanding of lending products and operations in direct-to-consumer business model
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated track record of data-driven performance improvements in consumer finance products
- Innovation orientation, with passion for technology enabled solutions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience managing relationships with third-party lenders and negotiating terms
- Experience leading teams of credit analysts and overseeing high-volume lending originations
