Oversight of greater than $1B annually in third-party consumer financing originations; optimize consumer financing process and partners to ensure high approval rates and low cost
Manage relationships with third-party lenders, negotiate terms, ensure compliance, and evaluate/onboard new lending partners
Oversee financial health of consumer finance operations; develop and monitor KPIs and financial reporting
Provide insights to Divisional and Marketing leaders to inform sales and lead funnel management
Oversee centralized team of credit analysts to ensure consistent service and efficient loan closings with high customer satisfaction
Collaborate with sales teams to enhance customer acquisition and implement training programs on consumer finance products
Ensure compliance with consumer finance regulations in collaboration with legal and licensing teams
Monitor trends in consumer credit markets and economic conditions
Serve as technology advocate for new lending platform roll-out and drive performance improvements from automation
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience in consumer finance, financial services, or a similar role, with a strong understanding of lending products and operations in direct-to-consumer business model
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail
Demonstrated track record of data-driven performance improvements in consumer finance products
Innovation orientation, with passion for technology enabled solutions
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Experience managing relationships with third-party lenders and negotiating terms
Experience leading teams of credit analysts and overseeing high-volume lending originations
