About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Category Manager(s) with day-to-day activities that drive sales and achieve department and category objectives
  • Review, verify, and set up new vendors and items across multiple systems
  • Process item maintenance, cost changes, and freight adjustments daily
  • Enter, track, and process billing each period
  • Communicate across Inventory Management, Center Store, Accounting, AWG Brands, and warehouse teams
  • Assist with deduction resolution
  • Interact with vendor partners to ensure accurate item maintenance
  • Communicate with cross-functional AWG departments
  • Compile and run data reports as requested by the Category Manager
  • Assist with special projects and other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 6 months previous customer service experience
  • Microsoft Office experience required
  • Strong Excel knowledge preferred
  • College degree preferred but not required
  • Consumer Products Goods or related industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of AWG systems preferred, including SCM, PComm, Balances, OnDemand, and Peoplesoft
  • Ability to multi-task easily and efficiently with strong communication skills
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Team player
