About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a portfolio of complex Special Asset relationships while maintaining strong credit quality and regulatory compliance.
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow, and collateral to evaluate new credit requests, renewals, and loan modifications.
- Partner with Relationship Managers and Special Asset Officers to develop credit strategies and deliver exceptional client service.
- Monitor portfolio performance, repayment trends, and financial reporting to proactively identify and mitigate risk.
- Coordinate the loan renewal process and collaborate with internal partners to deliver timely credit decisions.
- Identify opportunities to introduce clients to additional banking solutions, including Treasury Management, Wealth Management, Capital Markets, and other specialized services.
- Support due diligence activities for newly transferred relationships and present complex credit recommendations through the loan approval process.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8+ years of commercial real estate, commercial banking, corporate banking, or commercial credit experience.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, if applicable.
- Preferred 4+ years of sales or business development experience.
- Experience managing complex or distressed commercial credit relationships.
- Experience presenting credit recommendations and collaborating with cross-functional banking teams.
