About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Manage the integrity of the general ledger, chart of accounts, cost center structures, and related financial data.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX requirements, and internal control standards.
  • Oversee journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet governance activities.
  • Partner with Financial Reporting, FP&A, Finance Technology, and business leaders to support reporting and operational objectives.
  • Support SEC filings, regulatory reporting, consolidation activities, and audit readiness efforts.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor a team of accounting professionals to drive performance and accountability.
  • Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives across accounting and close processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years of accounting and/or finance experience.
  • 3+ years of experience within the financial services industry.
  • 1+ years of leadership experience.
  • 1+ years of experience with SOX controls.
