About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the growth and management of commercial client relationships through credit analysis, portfolio management, and strategic partnership with Relationship Managers.
- Analyze financial statements, credit requests, and client performance to evaluate lending opportunities and risk.
- Manage portfolio administration activities while ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Partner with Relationship Managers to support and strengthen commercial client relationships.
- Monitor portfolio performance, repayment activity, and overall credit quality to proactively manage risk.
- Recommend loan structures and participate in the loan approval and renewal process.
- Identify and refer cross-sell opportunities across Treasury Management, Private Banking, Capital Markets, and other banking services.
- Collaborate with internal partners and credit teams to deliver responsive, high-quality client service.
- Participate in community and business activities to strengthen market presence and build professional relationships.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Corporate Banking, Specialized Banking, or Credit Approval
- 2+ years of experience handling complex commercial credits
- Reliable transportation and ability to lawfully drive, if applicable
- 1+ years of sales experience (preferred)
- 1+ years of formal credit training (preferred)
- Experience building and managing commercial client relationships (preferred)
- Strong communication, financial analysis, and relationship management skills (preferred).
