About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle full‑cycle accounting for rental properties (A/R, A/P, owner payments)
- Process rent, move‑ins/move‑outs, refunds, and management fees
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Post journal entries and accruals
- Complete weekly cheque runs
- Support budget entry and government reporting
- Follow RECA trust accounting requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Some experience in **rental or property management accounting**
- Basic understanding of full‑cycle accounting (general ledger, subledgers, reports)
- Comfortable using accounting software and **Excel**
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work through repeatable monthly tasks
- Clear communication skills
