About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build ETL jobs using Azure Data Factory for internal projects and externally facing customers using Azure, Salesforce, and SFTP technologies
- Develop ETL jobs to manipulate and transfer large data volumes and perform quality checks
- Monitor active ETL jobs in production
- Investigate failed ETL jobs, resolve issues, and collaborate with team members
- Create Azure Data Factory pipelines and use SQL scripts to manipulate and clean data
- Assist in building data lineage artifacts and design/mapping documentation for QA and UAT
- Assess data transformation needs and recommend, develop, and train teams on data integration technologies
- Build ETL jobs for the Snowflake data platform initiative supporting operational and analytical reporting
- Identify efficiencies in shared data processes and batch schedules
- Assist the data quality analyst with checks and balances across current and future batch jobs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
- 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation, including Programmer Analyst or related experience
- 1 year of experience with ETL, Python, and SQL
- Ability to work 40 hours per week
- Position may telecommute/work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.
