About the role
- Review, analyze, and track financial and operational data from multiple sources to support strategic objectives.
- Develop financial models, prepare projections, and perform research and analysis in collaboration with Finance, Accounting, and Business leadership.
- Perform planning, profitability analysis, forecasting, and reporting; present financial information clearly.
- Maintain company-wide and divisional forecast.
- Prepare monthly budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual analysis and report key metrics and KPIs.
- Prepare cost reports, operational analysis, and profitability models for business and product lines.
- Partner with Sales to measure performance of key sales metrics and improve forecasting accuracy based on customer pipeline.
- Partner with operational leadership to measure implementation and ongoing project costs for project profitability analysis.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and implement best practices for value-add information and analysis.
- Assist in development and review of CAPEX and project budgets.
- Assist in development and improvement of operational models.
- Build strong relationships with leadership, customers, and peers; communicate effectively and escalate issues that affect productivity.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations of the department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related analytical field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience maintaining financial model and cash flow projections. Prefer 2 - 4 years’ experience in corporate FP&A or similar role.
- Working knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting practices
- Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial audience
- Experience with NetSuite or Oracle financial systems
- Experience within healthcare or SaaS industry
