About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Interacts with product leaders to understand the vision and direction of analytics product line.
- Designs, develops, and supports interactive dashboards and reports that align with product vision.
- Recommends dashboards per Tableau (or other BI tool) visualization features.
- Draws upon full range of BI platform technologies to design and implement proof of concept solutions and create advanced BI visualizations.
- Performs acceptance testing of new reports, programs, and models.
- Documents business requirements and methods used to generate work output.
- Drives analytic innovation and best practices.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or equivalent experience or combination of education and experience.
- Certificates, licenses, and registrations required: N/A
- Extensive (advanced level) experience working with business intelligence data visualization tools with specialization on Tableau, ThoughtSpot, and PowerBI preferred.
- Strong knowledge in data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with database query tools - develop and execute queries.
- Experience with databases, data retrieval, and manipulation.
- Understanding of ETL preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft BI stack preferred.
- Strong data analysis experience.
- Strong understanding and ability to pull data together, analyze it, and present it.
