About the role
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable APIs and Rails-based systems
- Lead development with Ruby on Rails ensuring high performance and maintainability
- Design, build, and optimize APIs that power applications and integrations
- Partner with the team to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Write clean, secure, and testable code aligned with best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively
Requirements
- Proven expertise in Ruby on Rails (core framework)
- Strong experience in API development (design + implementation)
- Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL experience a plus)
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and scalable architecture
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Availability to work full-time 9am–5pm EST, Monday–Friday
