About the role
- Oversee residential construction projects from planning through completion
- Coordinate and manage contractors (roofers, framers, electricians, etc.)
- Ensure projects stay on schedule, within scope, and aligned with quality standards
- Assist with contractor selection, onboarding, and approvals
- Manage building permits and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations
- Act as the main point of contact between contractors, stakeholders, and internal team
- Provide consistent updates on project progress, risks, and timelines
- Use project management tools to track progress, timelines and documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential construction project management or home building
- Strong experience working with contractors (roofers, framers, electricians, etc.)
- Solid understanding of construction processes, timelines and sequencing
- Experience handling permits and building codes
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working remotely and independently
