Prior EXPERT experience in insurance billing, AR tracking, or bookkeeping
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow step-by-step instructions
Strong working knowledge of Clickup / Microsoft 365 / Excel
Familiarity with platforms like Charm and Availity (or ability to learn quickly)
Strong English written communication skills
Comfortable working independently and asking the right questions
Prior work in telemedicine or mental health billing
Understanding of CPT codes, modifiers, and EHR workflows
Maintain Compliant with HIPAA
Experience writing SOPs or documenting processes
- Must have experience with OUTPATIENT OFFICE billing in BOTH medical and behavioral health (Psychiatry)
- Must have experience with telemedicine billing in multiple states
- EXPERT knowledge of both MDM and TIME-based billing
- EXPERT knowledge with ICD and CPT coding rules and private payor rule sets (we do NOT bill Medicare or Medicaid)
- EXPERT knowledge with chart reviews/audits
- EXPERT knowledge with claim submissions, claim denial and claim appeals
