About the role
- Design and ship production systems on Microsoft Azure, championing engineering best practices and meeting security and compliance standards.
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain web and/or mobile applications in a highly collaborative environment.
- Contribute to the complete technology stack, especially backend and databases.
- Continuously innovate and strategize on making applications faster and more resilient.
- Prioritize and manage work while adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Share a passion for design and technology and collaborate with cross-functional teams serving transportation infrastructure clients.
Requirements

- Minimum 4 years of experience as a backend or full-stack developer. Applications with less than 4 years of experience will not be considered.
- Knowledge of data structures and object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Knowledge of database design and understanding of SQL queries.
- Experience working with cloud-based systems (Microsoft Azure preferred).
- Experience with .NET Core and SQL Server on Azure is implied by technical stack.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-driven and able to contribute as part of a small team.
- Experience working with JavaScript and/or JavaScript frameworks is a big plus.
