About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide ongoing administrative support to assigned senior-level managers
- Collect and review historical income and expense information of apartment buildings
- Interface with clients to facilitate understanding of property performance and asset characteristics
- Gather and analyze market trends and rent comparables using internal and third-party reports
- Lead and manage various internal projects
- Prepare materials as necessary
- Prepare accurate and timely weekly, monthly, and quarterly property reporting
- Answer and direct resident calls at the corporate level
- Coordinate travel, hotel, and rental car arrangements as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Travel approximately 10% of work time annually for property visits or internal meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Problem solving, decision making, and analytical skills required
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work with multiple deadlines and tasks while maintaining efficiency and control over assigned projects
- Experience and/or knowledge in Property Management Software, such as MRI or One-Site, a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative majors such as finance, real estate, or economics, a plus
- Position may entail approximately 10% annual travel for property visits or internal meetings
- This is a safety-sensitive position and may be subject to additional compliance requirements
