About the role
- Play a significant role in shaping and executing on Assent’s product strategy
- Collaborate with Development, QA, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams
- Identify and validate market opportunities
- Ensure product solutions align with regulatory and customer requirements
- Build strong business cases for stakeholders
- Deliver world-class capabilities aligned with customer needs
- Oversee Product Managers supporting their product portfolio
- Work directly with prospects, customers, and users to understand their needs
- Define roadmap and create materials for internal and external use
- Quantify and articulate value, and make recommendations on pricing
- Ensure business objectives are met during solution delivery
- Conduct win/loss analysis independently
- Maintain knowledge of new trends and products in the market
- Collaborate on market research to assess the competitive landscape
Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- A University, College and/or Post Graduate certificate in Information Technology, Computer or environmental Science, or similar
- At least 8 years of relevant and progressive experience in Product Management for a SaaS company
- Deep understanding of SaaS
- Understanding of databases, software development processes and lifecycle, and quality assurance principles
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Team player with strong collaboration skills
- Excellent leading, influencing and negotiation skills
- Strong presentation skills
- High degree of professionalism, maturity and emotional intelligence
- Excellent time management skills and highly organized
- Strategic and business-minded
