About the role
- Own backlog and roadmap for the real-time resource management system with the planning of stands and gate allocation as the primary use case.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and airport operations teams to understand allocation challenges, regulatory requirements, and efficiency goals.
- Translate operational needs and requirements into prioritised product backlogs, user stories, and comprehensive technical development tickets.
- Define success metrics and track performance improvements (e.g., reduced delays, improved gate utilisation).
- Lead the product development process of the product to ensure the highest quality of the product. Includes holding manual acceptance testing according to the acceptance criteria.
- Manage agile/scrum retrospectives and continuous collaboration with the customers on developing and improving the product.
- Collaborate with internal and external software development teams in order to realize the roadmap and ensure the highest quality of product delivered.
- Manage initial / first implementation with our launch customer (one of the biggest airlines in the world).
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management/ownership experience in B2B SAAS company.
- Ideally in products connected to aviation or logistics.
- Prior knowledge in airport operations, gate/stand planning, and/or resource allocation systems.
- Experience in building and successfully launching new products from the ground up.
- Experience in working with Launch customers on the product definition, development, and testing in operational requirements.
- Proven track record of managing products with optimisation or scheduling algorithms.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Ability to define and track operational KPIs.
- Excellent problem-solving and prioritisation skills.
