About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and review product assortments by category, store, and region, ensuring alignment with company strategy;
  • Perform product performance analyses;
  • Conduct market and competitor studies;
  • Propose actions for product introduction, maintenance, or discontinuation based on sales data, profitability, market trends, and consumer behavior;
  • Monitor product launches, seasonal campaigns, and commercial plans, ensuring assortment adherence;
  • Ensure proper regionalization of the mix, taking into account demographic profiles and purchasing behavior;
  • Track assortment performance indicators and recommend continuous adjustments to maximize results.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree (completed higher education);
  • Solid experience in assortment and category management, with deep product knowledge and understanding of category roles;
  • Knowledge of store clustering and regionalization of the assortment mix;
  • Experience with data analysis, assortment KPIs, and BI tools;
  • Ability to work with market analysis tools (Scanntech and Nielsen);
  • Experience with store layout, product presentation, planograms, and defining space allocation by category, considering customer flow, commercial strategy, productivity per linear meter, profitability, and category role;
  • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data structuring);
  • Power BI;
  • Assortment techniques: product tier classification, ABC curve, 80/20 rule, GMROI, etc.;
  • Analytical, results-oriented profile;
  • Negotiation skills and clear communication across multiple departments;
  • Strategic business vision;
  • Organization, proactivity, and autonomy;
  • Critical thinking and data-driven decision making.
