About the role

  • Lead and oversee planning activities for Commercial and Public sectors, including supervision of existing planners.
  • Collaborate with local plant managers to optimize planning and inventory control processes.
  • Issue and manage Purchase Orders (POs) to Contract Manufacturers and Suppliers.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize excess.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Oracle systems, resolving transactional issues and supporting UAT testing.
  • Partner with the New Product Introduction (NPI) team to issue and manage POs related to new product launches.
  • Continuously improving planning processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in planning, preferably in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and procurement processes.
  • Proven ability to work effectively across departments and with diverse teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues and propose practical solutions.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
  • High level of accuracy in planning, data management, and reporting.
  • Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and driving change.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in international business environments.
