About the role
- Be part of the software development team who designs, implements, maintains and tests backend software for our ABLOY OS product (EAC - Electronic Access Control)
- Support product management in building development roadmaps and plans, and help ensure their execution
- Participate actively in diverse product development projects within domestic and international organizations
- Act as a Scrum Master on your turn (rotating role) and facilitate some meetings with the development team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s of Science in embedded programming, software engineering or related field
- Solid skills in Java, C/C++, and Python programming languages
- Strong experience in software development environments in Linux, development tools and related technologies
- Experience of using AI capabilities within software development
- 2+ years of professional work experience in software development/testing positions
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab)
- Basic knowledge of electronics and embedded devices
- Basic understanding of secure programming and security regulations in SW development
- Fluent in both written and verbal communication in English and Finnish
- Knowledge and understanding of agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe
