About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the global technical authority for reliability engineering standards, methodologies, and best practices.
Define, maintain, and govern enterprise reliability standards, tools, and frameworks.
Lead the technical deployment and sustainment of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) across critical asset classes.
Ensure critical equipment has documented failure modes, risk-based maintenance strategies, and performance expectations.
Provide expert guidance on predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, and data analytics applications.
Analyze performance data to identify systemic failure patterns and recommend permanent corrective actions.
Lead or support Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) for complex or high-risk equipment failures.
Support capital projects by embedding reliability and maintainability requirements into design, specification, and asset handover.
Mentor and influence site reliability engineers through technical coaching and knowledge sharing.
Partner with site, regional, and corporate leaders to improve OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and asset availability.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
20+ years of experience in industrial or large-scale manufacturing environments
10+ years of advanced experience in reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, or asset management
Recognized expertise in Reliability-Centered Maintenance, failure elimination, and predictive maintenance
Demonstrated experience influencing reliability practices across multiple sites or regions
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills
Experience supporting global manufacturing operations with diverse asset profiles
Familiarity with digital reliability platforms, advanced analytics, and Industry 4.0 concepts
Professional engineering licensure or relevant reliability certifications (e.g., CMRP, CRE)
