About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide guidance, education, and presentations to programs and agencies throughout the region related to living donation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with knowledge experts to develop educational content for brochures, websites, and other materials
  • Remain current on issues related to living donation, including federal protection bills, national campaigns, and shifts in clinical care or processes
  • Build partnerships with organizations and create living donor referral opportunities
  • Collect and relay stories of hope and gratitude to inspire people to become living donors
  • Document activities, participation, audience, and estimated reach/return
  • Order and maintain adequate inventory of educational materials and promotional items
  • Leverage knowledge, skills, and resources across internal and external stakeholders
  • Offer creative solutions to achieve objectives while being mindful of UW Health’s resources
  • Share ideas and insights from external engagements with internal team members

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business or relevant field required
  • 2 years of progressively responsible experience planning and implementing community education/outreach programs, including giving presentations required
  • Valid Wisconsin driver's license and current auto insurance upon hire required
  • Experience developing educational programs preferred
  • Experience planning and implementing community outreach events preferred
  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business or relevant field preferred
  • Frequent local travel required
  • Availability for occasional night and weekend hours to accommodate scheduled events
