About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver compassionate, multidisciplinary, coordinated care for breast patients through comprehensive and personalized patient-centered care
  • Partner with breast cancer patients and families through prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship
  • Provide patient education and coordinate care for patients diagnosed with breast cancer or other breast conditions
  • Collaborate with genetic counselors, breast surgeons, plastic surgeons, medical oncologists, radiologists, radiation oncologists, and advanced practice providers
  • Assess patients during visits and via telephone triage
  • Work Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., with no weekends, holidays, or call

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate of a school of nursing
  • At least 6 months of RN experience
  • Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact upon hire
  • Current CPR/BLS certification upon hire
  • Relevant inpatient RN experience preferred
  • Ambulatory experience preferred
  • Relevant oncology experience preferred
  • Chemotherapy experience preferred
  • Experience with venous access devices (VADs) and IV skills preferred
  • Certification in specialty area of practice preferred
